Ive done it to 4 of my employers to get them to do the right thing.

The union guy did it so nothing to worry about.

My question is have any other fellow H&S Practitioners,professionals and consultants ever had to whistle blow on their employer?

Just whistle blow on them to the fire brigade or HSE, I did remember the constitution.

I find that most people who take the "Other " routes because they cant pass the Nebosh Diploma.
