Re: Jail and rightly so!

Whilst I agree completely with the severity of the sentencing, unfortunately it doesn't bring back the Son/Husband/Brother/Father to his family.#

Hopefully though it will be a wake up call for others who decide to go for the "cheaper option".

Re: RIDDOR Question

I agree with what you say Keith but it's an Accident investigation course and I want to be able to answer the inevitable question of "Is it a legal requirement?" confidently and also if it is to be able to show the evidence. My thoughts are that it is almost a requirement by proxy. I can't...

RIDDOR Question

Quick question folks. Does it stipulate anywhere in legislation that we "must" investigate incidents/accidents. Nothing untoward just trying to clarify in my own mind for a training course. Yes we should investigate to determine causes and prevent recurrence but is it actually a legal requ...

Re: Tyre accident german grand prix

The mechanics only wear the fire retardent overalls and a helmet for protection against burns from a potential fire. This really all came about when they used to do refuelling. Exactly Adrian. You only have to look at the garages during the practice sessions where the mechanics are all decked out i...

Re: Tyre accident german grand prix

Before I make my point I'd like to point out I have every sympathy for the cameraman who was after all just doing his job. However, 1. How will banning the media from the pit lane prevent a recurrence? Pit crew will still be there and one of them could just as easily have been the victim here. Seems...

Re: Auditing Software for Android or IOS

Have you tried iAuditor Keith?

I downloaded it for ipad after a recommendation from a friend and although i haven't used it yet you can apparently customise it to suit your requirements.

Re: suspended load height

I'm fairly confident that you're not going to find it anywhere in legislation that loads should be kept "as low as possible to the ground. I think it's one that is seen as best practice across all industries for various reasons. of the top of my head, if the load is as low as possible:- 1 No-on...

Re: Health & Safety - Scotland SSEC 17 - 18 April 2013

I got my delegate pass by email today but having handed in a letter of resignation last week I can imagine the response from my GM if I asked for a couple of days to go to this.

Pity really because it looks like it will be pretty good.

Re: Ingress. The Game - Android Phones

I am in the process of downloading the game now and shall be spending my lunch hour playing providing the activation code arrives.

Good to see that some developers are prepared to launch on android before iOS with something that has clearly cost quite a substantial sum to develop

That's perfect Alexis.

I'm sure I'll be able to modify and plagiarise in equal quantities.

Thank you very much
