I am assuming this is for a specific task. If so why not state the correct extinguisher to have available. For example A "CO2/foam/water" fire extinguisher must be close at hand and the operator trained in its use. The training part is important, it may be a controlled environment where containment ...

Hi Britdan, welcome to the forum its great to have you on board.

Unless you have a particular interest in construction I would suggest you go for the general certificate.
This way you will get to experience many aspects of Health and Safety and likely find one that interests you.
