Re: RUNNING IN THREES ??

Just wish someone could tell me what it IS, and why i've had so many tests this year and over 30 days off work ill ??? Not good when you're self employ...

RUNNING IN THREES ??
1. On Friday, I parked up at a client site and went to reception to sign in - their own flat bed lorry driver didn't see my saloon car parked at least 5 feet behind his vehicle and decided to reverse back, even though he could have driven off forwards, and thus rip off my bonnet and grille - got the...

JOB - SHORT TERM CONTRACT - PORTSMOUTH
On behalf of one of my clients working in the Portsmouth area - they require a site survey to be completed once per two weeks over a 16 week contract length, so 8 visits in total. They erect steel buildings on completed ground works, so it's from initial dig out to completed building handover to the...

Re: Life on the allotment !
In deference to three score and nearly one years of age, i have been enclosing the space between the shed and greenhouse with floor decking, the back of an old shed, the side of an old shed, a built framework that now holds a wooden glazed door and a three panel uPVC window to seal off the area to m...

Re: Life on the allotment !
With 3 grandchildren as picking slaves last weekend, and extra hands all over both plots, we lifted 7.4 kilos of gooseberries, 10.1kilos of redcurrants, 3.8kilos of blackberries, and 5.4 kilos of jostaberries...... jam, anyone ???? Good job we have four large storage freezers in my workshop, as well...

Re: Life on the allotment !
And the allotment grower returns for another season, albeit very late ! Life really busy in the H&S world - have had several long term contracts that have kept me off here for months, but back on here at last ! Oh, and the other half is up to 85 percent recovered from her shoulder op, almost 8 m...

Re: Life on the allotment !
It's not a neighbour on the next plot - the plot has been un-worked and abandoned with everyone's waste and rubbish dumped on it for over 5 years now - no one will take it on with the unkempt state of it. I have put in 4 stakes and some netting to form something of a 2 metre square manure / waste ga...

Re: Life on the allotment !
Remember me ??? - I used to have spare time to post updates for my allotment !! Currently working 7 x 10's on a local construction project for five weeks, so allotment has been handed over to the reserve crew, including a new recruit, my wife's cousin. Finally got an appointment date for the wife's ...

Re: Turkey Holiday 2014 (Please Read)
I've been on my normal Turkish travel site - been to Turkey 27 times to date - and the fee may be higher than £10 as it was last year when trialling the e system - £12 to £13 is their best guess, as they are basing it on $ 20 USA as a fee. I also need to check more with them as there are loads of ne...

Re: PAT testing at my wood turning club
The use of PAT testers and the recording of the tests via asset registers has in general become the norm for time based portable electrical equipment tests. The actual test through the machine will give accurate results (if the machine has been serviced and calibrated correctly)for all required eart...
