Out of interest, how many people are working in the area? You can also get personal wearable alerts that vibrate/notify wearers when the 80DbA is exceeded but appreciate you have limited budget so would depend how many workers you have as to whether it would be a viable option. I'd suggest yes when walking across the park - if they are in/around areas with traffic then the hivis helps pedestrians be seen by drivers and helps them stand out. They may not be essential in your own warehouse with zero traffic but they are lightweight and cheap and can help with visibility so u...

Congratulations and thank you - without doubt the best and most knowledgeable and friendly bunch of safety professionals on any H&S forum I've come across. Thank you too Alexis - you should both be very proud of what has been created - crazy to think it is 20 years old.

I'd suggest you read through the PM28 Guidance notes from the HSE - see https://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/pm28.htm where you can download a copy for free. It should give you everything you need to decide whether it is suitable for you to continue using or not. For occasional use and in certain situations...
