Dropping in to say hello.

I used to be here as Gladiator many years ago. I retired in 2010/11 and well, life has been great since I gave up working for a living. I'll not prattle on too much in case there is no one here that remembers me :D

Glad.

Re: World Cup thread

Hello Glynn, I've actually retired buddy. Moving home as well to Exmoor National Park area, well, not really a park, you know, thousands and thousands of acres. Just gone on the market so hello stressville! Anyway, I digress. The more I think about this the more I so wish Holland could be banned fro...

Re: World Cup thread

I'm a bit of an international footie freak and thoroughly enjoy qualifiers, friendlies, the world cup and the Euros. Despite the dismal England contribution and those ridiculous horns (thanks BBC for using technology to shut them out some), oh and Ghana going out when they really did win, and I'll g...

Re: World Cup thread

Like tens of thousands of other TV viewers our entertainment has been ruined by those RIDICULOUS horns. Sounds like bees in a bl00dy rusty tin. Been all over the media, I see some of the ITV contracted advertisers wish to pull out, the players hate it, I hate it, tried sound muted, played with the s...

Re: Old Forum Postings - A Wealth of Information

And indeed they are updated almost daily so never be fearful of a search. Do your research then come back with a question or two. No matter how much research you do you will always have a burning question. AND...as has been said a zillion times, there aint not never a daft one either. The only daft ...

Re: Need a professional CV.

I think what it is... is a partnership and the lads are only just out of nappies. They seem to be ruled by HR. It is non-negotiable sadly and beggars cannot be choosers so I need to pander to this ridiculous request...hence the plea for help.

Need a professional CV.

All Can anyone help? I need a CV by the end of next week. I have an opportunity to do permanent work one day a week as an employee. Money not great but at least it will be steady money to pay some bl00dy bills with. Is anyone here a professional CV person that could help me? They have requested I pr...

Thanks Keith. In reality it is or should be limited to twice annually.

Blog entries

Have gone into writer blank mode today for some reason. I'm trying to get the inspiration together to get at least two blog entries going each week on my website. Tis harder that you may first imagine. Unlike Nick, I don't have a super-large company so don't have little ditties I can throw in. Any s...

Re: Facebook Trojan

Must admit that an occasional nasty made its way past kaspersky, had used 'K' for around five years. Have been with ESET Nod32 for around six-months now and thoroughly delighted although today was creating a facsimile forum icon and spybot jumped in and stopped me accessing it. The warning stated so...
