I'd do the Diploma. Its my preference because it's more "transferrable" at the moment. Though in a couple of years time I'd probably get the NCRQ. Only reason I say this is because the NCRQ is new and employers aren't that aware of it yet. But I'm interested to see where this new one goes ...

Reduced duties? If he is not fully recuperated then he should not be at work. Do a risk assessment, what if it's made worse? Maybe the poor guy wants to be at work?? Minefield though be careful xx
