Hi Robborobbo i agree with your statement that 'Most H&S persons I speak to do not perform DSEAR assessments'. Both my previous and current employement involved the use of products that require DSEAR RAs, but neither had any completed, and like you we have acetylene, propane, oxygen on site, as well...

thanks Nell the cabinates i purchased are 30min fire resistant, the products that are stored in these do follow the MSDS for storage recommendations Maybe sticking a sign on the cabinet saying do not stick head or climb into cabinet due to risk of fumes might satisfy him? this actually made me laugh...

yes this is the procedure we follow, i read the MSDS for all variations and if they are all identicle then 1 is sufficient but you may find slight variations to the compounds required for the colour. time consuming i know but i never assume anything.
