Are there any restrictions on the disposal of laminators the smal A4 type which are found in offices and homes. I don't think it comes under hazardous waste but not sure where to look to confirm.

Does anyone know what the inclince of a ramp must not exceed to be compliant with Building Regs and DDA and where I can find this in the legislation/ACOP? The ramp is required for access into a retail unit.

Thanks for all your replies. We have retail sites in The Netherlands where we need to dispose of hazardous waste. Legislation (which I found in English!) suggests that the Dutch operate in a very similar way to the UK, through a lisenced company.

Is there a legal requirement for a workplace to keep an accident book (ie the standard HSE-issue type) or is it acceptable to record accidents/incidents in other ways (ie submitting an electronic form to a company HO with an electric copy kept on site)?
