Why are companies not giving office staff manual handling training, when their day to day tasks involve pushing pulling twisting stooping lifting??? Every body should have some form of manual handling training.

Well said, just because somebody who cant pass a NEBOSH exam wants to through his toys out of the pram.

Most employers and the majority of health & safety practioners & professionals who I have worked for or met rate the NEBOSH Diploma as the Rolex, premier league qualification over others, If it was easy to achieve everybody would be doing it.

I bet if any of them put a claim in for manual handling related injuries they'd sharp say the were follwing the policy in place!!!
