Job description: The UK’s major operator of the rail infrastructure is looking for a Health and Safety Assurance Administrator for a 6 month contract working out of their Southwark office based in London .
Previous experience in major projects in a railway environment is an essential.
Expert in Excel and capable of manipulating data to provide information for senior management.
Highly organised, have a good eye for detail, especially in respect to the collation of key performance indicator returns, and be able to produce high quality charts and reports. You must also have good reporting skills, ensuring that reports provide clear, concise and correct informatio and be comfortable working within tight deadlines
Ideally possess the ability to simplify and improve the current reports process with some basic knowledge of Health, Safety and Assurance we would like to talk to you.

Person Specification
To be considered for this role, you will have experience, have been involved in, have an awareness of or be qualified in the following:-
NEBOSH
A recognised professional qualification in Fire Safety (MIFE)
In-depth knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
2 years proven history of Health and Safety experience.
2 years` proven history of Fire Safety experience, preferably with-in the Fire Brigade or Armed Forces or Fire Engineering Environment.
You must also be, well presented, polite, reliable, able to work on own initiative, have good communications skills, able to chair and contribute in meetings and be able to deliver training courses
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software is required, in particular Microsoft Office, Excel and Access
Awareness of Facilities Management (including soft services); board based construction, Mechanical and Electrical engineering
Membership of the Institution of Fire Engineers
