  • I have added a search function to the site today which can be accessed via the (function removed as of 21 January 2005) button on the left.   I will make this function a bit more user friendly as and when I learn how to do just that.   At the moment, it will take you to the page where the word or phrase exists.   I have plans to have the function highlight the searched word or phrase in bright colours on the page so you don't have to read all of the page to find what you originally searched for.   I also have plans to make the search function more accurate, i.e. if you search for "memorial", it will find pages that contain mem* in the start of the phrase or word.   Whereas I know that the only "memorial" words are on the home page and this news page.

  • My domain name provider is having issues tonight as it seems, the usual web address has been down for some time now.   Their support page apologises for any inconvenience caused.
  • New legislation changes today, check out the Legislation News page.
  • I had a wee panic attack from a site visitor via the feedback form - warning me of the many pop-ups appearing on my site such as pornography, adverts and other unsolicited pages that I certainly do not want associating with my site Health and Safety for Beginners (HSfB).   This prompted me to display a home page warning asking for feedback from my visitors about any pop-ups you were all experiencing.
I then had the sudden realisation, it was more than likely that the informative visitor had a lack of "pop-up stopper" software on his computer, either that or he had a serious case of ad-ware on his computer.   I certainly have never had one single pop-up on this site.   Although, I would appreciate any feedback from any other experiencing the same problem as my informative friend, I hope not though.
  • New link for the Department of Transport added to the homepage under 'Communities, Forums & Other Resources'.
