  • The Legislation News page has been updated, click the link on the left to read about:
    • Freedom of Information (Removal and Relaxation of Statutory Prohibitions on Disclosure of Information) Order 2004
    • Proposals for new amending Regulations about the Classification, Packaging and Labelling of Chemicals: (CHIP 3.1)

  • More of your feedback comments have been added to the Your Feedback page.   Thank you all for your very kind comments.
  • Various new links added to the useful links page.
  • Feedback form has been updated to allow you to select report a broken link on the site.   Please let us know of any link that doesn't work, there may be many reasons, but we can do our best to make sure it is not the fault of HSfB.
  • Logo change over has been completed throughout the site, but there are still several news archive articles have not yet been transferred to the new style web site.   This will be an ongoing process for many weeks to come.   Your patience is very much appreciated as always.

  • You may have noticed that our various PowerPoint presentations which were viewable in a web browser are gone since the relaunch, this is due to the high number of errors they were producing in our web server.   Not to mention the errors they caused to you the visitor.   If you were one of the many who used these web presentations, we apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.
  • The Legislation News page has been updated, click the link on the left to read about:
    • Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (Amendment) Regulations 2004
    • The Fireworks (Amendment) Regulations 2004
    • HSC Consultations - Proposals for the genetically modified organisms (Contained Use) (Amendment) Regulations 2005

  • The relaunch has now been completed successfully.   We would request that if you have any difficulties viewing any pages or come across any broken links, please let us know.
  • The news archive stories which total over 500, have not been converted to the new format yet, this will take a few more weeks to complete as it is very time consuming, but it will be done eventually.   All new stories will be in the new format, along with any new page that is created.

8 January 2005

  • The relaunch of HSfB is under way, completion will be before the end of the 9th of January.   You may see the site change over the next couple of hours in a strange way, but this is normal and will be complete later today.   Thank you for your patience.

Do You Have Any Study Aids/Tips?

As part of our continuing commitment and goal to provide beginners to the health and safety field free additional tools and advice for studies, we are seeking even more material from our visitors. Do you have any revision aids or tools that you have found useful in the past that you would like to share? It can be anything from one or two tips and hints, to full blown documents that give a better understanding of OSH management or risk assessment.

If you have anything at all that may be of use, PowerPoints, spreadsheets, documents, PDF files, charts, graphs or pictograms, we would love to publish them. You will of course be given full credit for your material if you wish.

If you feel you do have something to share, all you have to do is let us know via any of the various' formats on the site: contact page, feedback page or the community forums.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Just to reassure those of you who look to download the various materials on this site, we try our best to publish only material that is verified from the original owner. If we suspect plagiarism or copyright theft of any material, it will be discarded immediately.
