5 October 2004 - Selling to the HSE and What HSE Buys

Within the Health and Safety's (HSE's) website can be found a number of centrally negotiated contracts, which they have in place for goods and services, being mandatory requirements for use by HSE staff.

Examples of these are as follows:

  • Car Hire

  • Computer Consumables

  • Desking & Tabling

  • Envelopes

  • Hotel Accommodation & Conference Booking Services

  • IT Equipment

  • Metal Container Furniture

  • Name Badges & Nameplates

  • Office Consumables (Stationery & Equipment)

Within the HSE Research Procurement Unit, there can also be found other contracts for services, which includes research.

Applications from Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SME's), such as website development, editing, sole traders, coaching etc and specialist services are encouraged by the HSE. Normally on an ad hoc letting bases of when and as required.
