updated on costs to Britain of workplace accidents and work related
ill-health has been prepared by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). The updated estimates show an indication in 2001/02 of the failure costs within health and safety to businesses. A breakdown of these failure costs is as follows:
These figures not only benefit in making a case for organisations to comply with health and safety law, they encourage employers to realise the benefits of good health and safety strategies.
