16 November 2004 - ACAS Online Package Learning to Manage Absenteeism in the Workplace
Businesses and organisations can set up their own procedures and return to the online service at any time for advice if so required.
The package consists of topics such as the following:
- Unplanned and or unauthorised absence.
- Handling a long-term absence.
- Developing and absence policy and procedures.
- Recognising patterns of absence.
- Handling frequent and persistent absenteeism.
ACAS Chair, Rita Donaghy commented:
