10 November 2004 - Workers - Your Rights Leaflet Published
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) along with the Trades Union Congress (TUC) has published a new information leaflet explaining the rights of workers; what workers should expect from employers; what responsibilities workers have; and where to go for help.
The leaflet will help various worker groups
and applies to young people on work experience, apprentices, charity
workers, mobile workers, homeworkers, temporary, casual or agency workers,
the employment business/agency, gangmasters, contractors or hirers who have
a legal duty to ensure workers receive the rights given in the leaflet.
