25 March 2004 - Free Quick Exposure Check Tool: Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders
A tool designed to enable health and safety practitioners to undertake assessments of the exposure of workers to musculoskeletal risk factors has been developed.
The Quick Exposure Check allows physical work activities to be assessed in collaboration with the worker. The HSE says it has been designed to be quick, easy to use and not to require extensive training before use. The tool’s one-page assessment sheet includes questions for both the practitioner (observer) and the worker to quantify exposure to risk for work related musculoskeletal disorders.
