Slope Operations

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) have prepared a leaflet in
consultation with the British Ski Slope Operators Association, aimed at owners
and operators of ski-ing facilities.
Health and safety on ski slopes, be they natural or artificial slopes,
providing facilities to snowboarding, slope ski-ing or snowboarding
activities, require compliance with the Health and Safety at Work etc Act
(1974).
Also contained within the leaflet is
information which is relevant to private clubs operating facilities in which
the public have access.
The purpose of the leaflet is to minimise
risks within the ski-ing industry by using correctly trained and authorised
personnel.
