9 August 2004 - RoSPA Glasgow - 'Learning, Sharing, Moving Forward'
This years RoSPA Scotland Safety & Health at Work Congress 2004 event is being held in Glasgow on 15 and 16 September at the Hilton Hotel. The theme being ‘Learning, Sharing, Moving Forward’.
The event will provide an opportunity to learn about the Health and Safety Commission’s new strategy for health and safety and issues such as the role of Employers’ Compulsory Liability Insurance in raising standards, embedding health and safety management in business education and new developments in compensation and rehabilitation.
Many topics will be covered such as: work related road safety; tackling slips, trips and falls; and team based approaches to health and safety management; manual handling; managing asbestos in buildings; tackling stress; and promoting healthy working lives.
