5 April 2005 - RoSPA Congress 2005 to Run Alongside Safety & Health Expo 2005

As this years Safety & Health Expo 2005 at the NEC Birmingham on 17-19 May 2005 draws closer, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) have announced their RoSPA Congress 2005 will run alongside the event focusing on the following:

  • Opportunities to examine: the real challenges associated with error and human behaviour.

  • Organisational capacity to investigate accidents and embed lessons learned.

  • How to connect professional health and safety advice with other parts of the business agenda.

  • How to develop attitudes, knowledge and skills to ensure health and safety competence at all levels.

The RoSPA Congress 2005 will also focus on the following:

  • Key challenge of putting health at the heart of health and safety management.

  • Reviewing "what works."

  • Managing stress and staff ill-health absence.

  • Educating and informing Health and Safety professionals on the key changes affecting their market.
