The Health and Safety Executives' (HSE's) International Workers
Memorial Day (IWMD) service will take place on 28 April 2005, from 12.30pm to
1.15pm, at Sir Christopher Wren Church of St James Garlickhythe, Garlick Hill,
London.
The HSE Christian Union are organising the service for the third
year and will be remembering people who have been killed whilst in their
workplace.
Services will also be conducted in countries throughout the
World, such as USA, UK, Asia, Europe and Canada, the originating country of the
IWMD.
Let us remember the daily fatalities which occur in the
workplace worldwide and be more aware of the potential accidents which could
occur by protecting ourselves and colleagues diligently.
Using safety equipment and adhering to health and safety
regulations will reduce the daily fatalities. Let's eliminate them
completely and always return home safely to our families each night.
