on use of Tower Cranes

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has issued a safety alert document on
the use of tower cranes in the construction industry. The alert aims
to remind people who are working on projects where tower cranes are in use of
the importance of the safe erection, operation, maintenance and dismantling of
these types of cranes. The alert has been issued due to a number of serious
incidents involving tower cranes in recent years.
