23 September 2005 - DEFRA Consultation on
Hazardous Waste Exemptions

The Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs (Defra),
have confirmed consultation to proposed changes to hazardous waste licensing
exemptions in England and Wales, with the addition of storage improvement and
monitoring procedures.
Scotland's waste management licensing exemptions for hazardous
waste is being considered and will be the subject of a separate consultation.
Defra invites comments and proposals to be completed by 16
December 2005.
