20 September 2005 - Free RoSPA Breakfast
Briefing for Scottish Businesses
Navigation

Scottish businesses are to benefit from a free health and safety
breakfast briefing, organised by the Royal Society for the Prevention of
Accidents (RoSPA), on the second morning of RoSPA's "Scotland Safety and Health
at Work Congress 2005", taking place at the Hilton Hotel, Glasgow, on 28-29
September, 2005.
The breakfast briefing will make provision for business health
and safety professionals to attend a free one hour briefing, between 9am and
10am, where RoSPA professionals will give updates and guidance on key health and
safety issues in such areas as the following:
-
Information on the new Control of Noise at Work Regulations, due
in February 2006.
-
Advice on health and safety auditing and how to build an
effective business case.
-
Prevention of workplace transport accidents, in which 70 die
each year in onsite workplace transport accidents.
Places for the free breakfast briefing are limited.
It is therefore advisable that any interested parties should register as soon as
possible. The registration form can be accessed from the RoSPA
