13 September 2005 - Safety Reps Prepare for
National Inspection Day

Safety Representatives are being urged by the Trades Union
Congress (TUC) to prepare for the one-day "National Inspection Day", planned for
Wednesday 26 October 2005.
The one- day event has been organised in the midst of the
European Health and Safety Week, with the aim of making aware the role in which
Safety Representatives can benefit both the worker and the employer, leading to
healthier workers and increased productivity.
Preparing for the National Inspection Day couldn't be simpler.
The TUC have provided posters, inspection guides and Health and Safety Executive
(HSE) recommended forms.
