13 September 2005 - HSE Events Webpage on Noise and Vibration

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) Events Webpage holds information on  forthcoming roadshows and seminars relating to noise and vibration from hand-transmitted, whole body vibration and low-frequency motion.

The first event being hosted by the HSE and working in partnership with the Engineering Employers Federation (EEF), is the 40th Annual UK Conference on hand-transmitted, whole body vibration and low-frequency motion, takes place from today, 13 September to Thursday 15 September 2005 at Liverpool Marriott Hotel City Centre, 1 Queen's Square, Liverpool.

The Conference will provide a platform for such people as health and safety specialists, consultants, doctors and industry etc to exchange information on effects and control of vibration within workplaces.

The second series of events are seminars which will be taking place throughout the UK at various venues, from 27 September 2005 through to 18 November 2005, entitled "Noise and vibration roadshow 2005 - Managing the risks."
