4 October 2005 - HSE New Website Areas

Navigation

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) have provided three new website areas, which are most informative, useful and well worth visiting.

The new areas are as follows:

The above website covers temperature in the workplace, but also looks much deeper into contributory factors of what the HSE term as "thermal comfort".

It is an initial draft, which will be revised and developed with the help of comments and feedback from yourselves, over a period of months.

This area deals with the varying "human factors" which attribute to accidents, injuries and ill-health within the workplace, in a bid to reduce accidents, cut costs and increase efficiency.

The Watch Your Step Campaign webpage provides advice and guidance for both employers and employees, with the aim of reducing slips and trips in the workplace.

It offers top tips to make workplaces safer, how safety representatives can assess hazards and printable posters for work areas to name but a few.
