Safety & Health at Work Focuses on Noise

The European Week of Safety and Health at Work 2005, due to take
place during the week of 24 - 28 October 2005, is focusing on excessive noise in
the workplace with the message "Stop That Noise!"
The "Stop That Noise!" campaign hopes to raise awareness of the
170,000 people within the UK who suffer impaired hearing, deafness, tinnitus and
other ear conditions attributed to noise in the workplace.
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) have provided a webpage
full of information regarding the European Week of Safety and Health at Work
