The Working Time Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1998 impose (amongst other
things) limits on the maximum weekly working time of workers and on the length
of night work. Regulation 20(2) of those Regulations, which is revoked by
regulation 3, provided an exemption from those limits in cases where a
worker's working time was partly unmeasured or determined by the worker
himself.
