The REACH (Appointment of Competent Authorities) Regulations 2007
- These Regulations appoint the competent authorities, except in Scotland,
for the purposes of Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 of the European Parliament
and of the Council concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and
Restriction of Chemicals (O.J. No. L396, 30.12.06, p. 1).
The Secretary of State is the competent authority in relation to matters that
fall outside the competence of a devolved administration.
