Guided Tour - Spend a day at a large multi-functional organisation in the safe hands of their Group HSEQ Director where you will be shown all you could imagine regarding management systems and processes for such an organisation.
-
The tour will consist of:
-
You will arrive either by train or car, whichever suits you, and if train, you will be met and driven to the site. Coffee and cakes first, followed by a tour of the 150 acres site which will include the office blocks, sheds, including the latest 750,000 sq ft part automated one. A tour over a 30 acre site that is now under design phase for redevelopment; spend the remaining part of the morning chatting and being involved in whatever is going on, that could mean going on a roof, checking M&E, dealing with contractors, attend a meeting and have the chance to talk to the Group HSEQ Director about H&S, view safe systems of work documentation, risk assessments, contractor assessments etc.
Lunch, and if you wish, a free pass to the on-site gym to enjoy the luxury facilities. If not, a gourmet lunch and a glass of wine or two!
After lunch it could be a visit to the local college to have an insight into the delivery of the NEBOSH Certificate (Thursday only). If time allows, a trip across the Park to the construction offices, meet Directors and take a tour of an active construction site.

It's as simple as that!
