Advertising Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions before committing to an advertising package with us.

We, Health and Safety for Beginners (HSfB), reserve the right to amend and update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

On ordering an advertising account, you (the Client) agree to these terms and conditions.

Your Account

All HSfB advertising campaigns, with the exception of newsletter placements and the Gold + campaign, run for periods of 3, 6, 9 or 12 months and are payable at the beginning of the advertising campaign in one payment. This is non refundable should the client decide to remove their advertising campaign part way through the year after the 30 day money back guarantee period.

Newsletter placements are on an individual basis and paid in advance.

The Gold + campaign runs for a period of 12 months and is payable at the beginning of the advertising campaign in one payment.

All HSfB advertising accounts come with a 30 day money back guarantee, effective from the date the advertising campaign goes live.

There is no charge from HSfB for setting up the advertising campaign or for any subsequent amendments to the Clients’ specifications at any time throughout the campaign term.

HSfB reserve the right to change prices at any time. The current prices shall be published at all times on the HSfB web site accessible from this micro site available to Clients and potential customers only.

All pricing is guaranteed from initial quotation and for the term of the campaign.

All pricing is in UK Sterling.

Cheques should me made payable to Health and Safety for Beginners.

Payment can be made via bank transfer. Bank details will be provided to clients when necessary.

HSfB has the right to decline or rescind any order.

Account Renewal

To renew any account, payment must be made within the terms set out on any invoice the Client receives.

Invoices for renewal of advertising accounts will be sent out via email 3 - 4 weeks before payment is due.

All bills and invoices are sent by email.

At all times the Client must specify a valid communication address, which should be an email address, if available, or a mailing address to which HSfB may send all invoices, notices or other forms of communication pertaining to important issues that may arise. Should the Client fail to notify HSfB immediately of any change in particulars then HSfB shall not be liable for any loss to the Client arising from any such failure.

If the renewal is not paid when it becomes due, on or before the last day of the client's account term and three requests for payment are sent to the client's last notified communications address, then the account may be closed and the advertising campaign may be deleted from our web site/s.

Cancellation

If a Client wishes to cancel their advertising campaign within the first 30 days from initial campaign launch, then a full refund of monies paid for that advertising campaign will be given. This does not apply to the 3 month package (Bronze package) which is non-refundable.

HSfB reserve the right to suspend or cancel a Client's advertising campaign at any time without notice.

If we cancel an account due to, in our opinion, the account advertising inappropriate products, services or materials, then no refund of monies will be due.

HSfB reserve the right to suspend or cancel a Client's advertising campaign at any time without notice if a Client, in our opinion, breaches any of the terms and conditions for use of the HSfB Discussion Forums.

Acceptable Use

HSfB will not display Google advertisements on Client's review pages.

Clients accept that advertisements requested for specific HSfB pages are on a ‘first-come-first-served’ basis and subject to availability. All packages will utilise the universal template layout and may position logos or banners according to our specification details given to the Client before any order is placed.

A selection of pages on the HSfB web site/s which will not be included in any advertising campaigns will be disclosed before any order is placed. Clients accept that at the discretion of HSfB, we will disallow any areas of any of our pages from having advertisements placed on them.

Clients accept that server downtime, whether for system upgrades or any other reason, may occur and there will be no compensation paid for any period of downtime in any event.

We do not allow adult material, foul or abusive language, Warez, illegal MP3 sites, slander/libel, impersonations, promotion of violence or terrorism, racial/sexual/political discrimination or other services we deem inappropriate.

The designation of "adult material" is left entirely to the discretion of HSfB and includes pornography and escort agencies.

Warez - includes pirated software, ROMS, emulators, phreaking, hacking, password cracking, IP spoofing, etc., and encrypting of any of the above. Also includes any sites which provide "links to" or "how to" information about such material.

Data stored on our servers is backed up every two weeks and a separate daily backup on our web host (who do not guarantee backups to be carried out). In the event of a server failure, we will endeavour to return a Clients advertising campaign to a state no later than two weeks prior to the failure.

Support is by email, telephone or by letter. We endeavour to reply to all email and telephone requests within 24 hours.

Indemnification

The Client agrees that it shall defend, indemnify, save and hold HSfB harmless from any and all demands, liabilities, losses, costs and claims, including reasonable attorney's fees asserted against HSfB, its agents, its customers, officers and employees, that may arise or result from any service provided or performed or agreed to be performed or any product sold by customer, its agents, employees or assigns.

The Client agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless HSfB against liabilities arising out of; (1) any injury to person or property caused by any products sold or otherwise distributed in connection with HSfB web sites; (2) any material supplied by client infringing or allegedly infringing on the proprietary rights of a third party; (3) copyright infringement and (4) any defective products sold to client from HSfB web sites.

Disclaimer

HSfB will not be responsible for any damages or losses your business may suffer.

HSfB makes no warranties of any kind, expressed or implied for services we provide.

HSfB disclaims any warranty or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. This includes loss of data resulting from delays, non-deliveries, wrong delivery, and any and all service interruptions caused by HSfB and its employees.

These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Any account in breach of these Terms and Conditions, determined solely at HSfB’s discretion, shall be removed from our web site/s.

HSfB reserves the right to revise its policies at any time.
